Petty Was Shot On The Frontlines and Needs Our Care

Volunteers are currently evacuating animals from the Kherson and Sumy regions of Ukraine, as the situation there is getting worse, and the frontline is moving.

Petty is one of the dogs evacuated to Odessa from the Kherson region. Rescuers found her roaming the streets in a grave condition. Some monster had shot her in the face, severely injuring her mouth.

Petty was brought to the Oksana Shelter in Odessa where she is being nursed back to health by selfless staff who are currently caring for 34 disabled dogs.

The Animal Rescue Site, in partnership with Greater Good Charities, is providing medical care and support for Petty and other dogs at Oksana Shelter.

Greater Good Charities has also established warehouse distribution partners in Poland, Romania, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Moldova and secured a permanent warehouse in Poland. With your help, we continue to provide funding and supplies to help distribute nourishing meals at border crossings for refugees fleeing Ukraine and at shelters and camps for those who remain in the country.

Greater Good Charities has directly supported partners helping hundreds of thousands of displaced people in Ukraine and refugees fleeing to neighboring countries. We have funded over 9.5 million meals distributed through local partners and food banks.
