OVER 100 terrified dogs and puppies have been heroically rescued from being electrocuted, butchered and boiled in a soup pot in South Korea.
Animal lovers from the (HSI) saved the scared pooches who were locked up in cages at a dog meat farm in Yesan in the west of the Asian country.
An incredible 149 hounds, including new-born babies, were rescued from being sold at a meat market during the Bok Nal season where over one million dogs are slaughtered and made into a spicy soup.
The concoction is said to improve blood flow and stamina during the sweltering heat of the summer.

Most of the mutts are being flown to animal shelters in the US before eventually being rehomed with big-hearted families.
